Aymeric Bethencourt is the CTO of SmartChain. He has 12+ years of experience in development including 4 years of blockchain development. He started his career as a military engineer and Officer in the French Navy followed by a PhD in Robotics. He then worked for the Directorate General of Armaments and French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission on exoskeletons. Following which, he decided to focus more on his passion for development and blockchain by joining Octo Technology (Part of Accenture) where he worked on multiple projects on Ethereum, Tezos, Corda, etc. He is a fervent advocate of agile methodology and full transparency with clients. Aymeric is very passionate about public blockchains and believes that one day everything will be tokenized.
