Charles Augu studied mathematics for two years before heading to ISEP engineering school to obtain a Master degree in Computer Science. During his final year of university, he studied blockchain technology and started developing DApps. He is currently pursuing a PhD at University Paris-Saclay and blockchain consultancy Smart-Chain. His first thesis topic titled " Blockchain maintenability and efficiency of protocol source code updates" focused on Cardano's blockchain protocol and it led him to build DApps on the Cardano eUTxO blockchain. Recently, he took part in the second cohort of the Plutus Pioneer Program by Cardano to strengthen his knowledge and develop smart contracts.
